SPIREHOP / PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

Eateri, Inc., a Delaware corporation, operates Spirehop for iPhone and iPad and this website. This policy describes information handled through both and the choices available to you.

Effective date: September 28, 2026.

What the game handles

Spirehop does not require an account to play. The game stores your best score, coins, completed-run count, unlocked or equipped cloaks and worlds, and preferences on your device. The current game code does not send that progress to an Eateri server. Local time reads the device clock and time zone to choose a world theme; it does not request location permission.

Optional Game Center leaderboard. If you sign in to Apple Game Center, Spirehop submits your locally saved best ledge score to Apple’s Highest Ledge leaderboard for your Game Center player. Apple processes the score and Game Center account information under its own terms and privacy policy. The game does not submit your coin balance, cosmetic choices, or optional diagnostics to Game Center. You can play without signing in.

If you turn on Save local diagnostics in Settings, the game keeps up to 300 summaries of run, ad, and purchase events and up to three available system diagnostic reports of at most 256 KB each. These reports can include device, operating-system, crash, or performance information supplied by Apple. Diagnostics are off by default. You can export them through the system file picker, delete them in Settings, or turn the setting off to clear them. They are not automatically sent to Eateri.

When you choose Share score, the app prepares a short message with your score and opens Apple’s share sheet. Only the destination you select receives that message.

Visiting this website

This site is hosted on Cloudflare. When you request a page, Cloudflare processes technical request information such as your IP address, browser details, and the page requested to deliver and protect the site. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives a request from your browser. The website code does not provide an account, contact form, or its own analytics script, and does not set first-party tracking cookies. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy for their handling of these requests.

Purchases and advertising

Apple processes the one-time Remove ads purchase. Spirehop uses StoreKit product information and verified entitlement status to enable and restore it; the app does not receive your payment-card information. Remove ads disables bottom banners and automatic interstitial ads, while optional rewarded ads remain available.

The game integrates Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). After five completed runs, a bottom banner can appear on the game screen and remain eligible on later launches. After a run, an optional rewarded ad can once award an extra amount equal to the coins collected in that run, doubling that run’s coin earnings. The app considers an interstitial when restarting after at least five completed runs, with a 180-second cooldown after a full-screen ad. UMP checks whether a consent form is required before the app requests ads. If Google makes privacy options available for your region and consent state, Ad privacy choices appears in Settings and Cloaks & worlds, where you can reopen Google’s privacy form.

The included Google Mobile Ads 13.10.0 and UMP 3.1.0 privacy manifests declare possible processing of coarse location, device ID, advertising data, product interaction, crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic data. Google also identifies IP address as information its SDK may collect. The Mobile Ads manifest marks Device ID as linked to a user and used for tracking. This declaration does not mean every category is collected from every player under every consent choice. The game does not request location permission; coarse location may be inferred from network information. Actual processing depends on region, device settings, and consent choices.

There are no separate mediation SDKs configured. Google’s AdMob network can include authorized ad buyers, so advertising recipients may extend beyond Google. Where applicable, Google’s IDFA explainer may appear before Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission prompt. You can decline tracking and continue playing; Google says its SDK will not send the advertising identifier (IDFA) in ad requests after a denial. UMP consent choices and Apple’s tracking permission are separate. See Google’s privacy policy, its iOS data disclosure guide, and Apple’s privacy policy.

Support and sharing

If you email support@eateri.co, Eateri receives your email address and whatever information you choose to send. We use it to answer support and privacy requests. Please avoid sending payment details or sensitive information. Namecheap Private Email hosts Eateri’s support mailbox; your email provider also processes the message to deliver it.

Apple processes Game Center scores and purchases; Google and its authorized advertising buyers may process ad-related information as described above. A destination you select receives any score message or diagnostics file you share. Eateri may disclose information if required by applicable law or to protect rights and safety. We do not receive a remote copy of on-device game progress or diagnostics through the current app code.

Retention and your choices

On-device game progress remains until you delete the app or clear its data. Diagnostics remain while enabled, subject to their storage limits; turning them off or using Delete saved diagnostics clears them. Apple and Google retain information they process under their own policies.

Eateri deletes support messages within 12 months after a request is resolved, unless a longer period is required for a legal obligation or dispute. This includes copies in the support mailbox and Eateri-managed exports or backups. Namecheap’s server backups may persist for a limited additional period under its own retention practices.

Spirehop has no account to delete. You can delete the app to remove locally stored game data. Where the Google privacy form is available, use Ad privacy choices to review or change consent. To ask about information Eateri may hold from a support request, email support@eateri.co. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of personal information, and to lodge a complaint with a privacy authority. Eateri may need information to verify your request and may not be able to retrieve data stored only on your device.

Security and international processing

Spirehop stores local game data in the app container. Eateri uses the security measures available through its devices and service providers for information it holds. No system can guarantee absolute security. Apple, Google, Cloudflare, and Namecheap Private Email may process information in countries other than yours. Their respective privacy policies describe their processing and international transfers. For questions about information Eateri handles, email support@eateri.co.

Children

Spirehop is a general-audience arcade game and is not designed primarily for children or intended for Apple’s Kids Category. It does not ask players for their age. If you believe a child has sent personal information to Eateri through support, contact support@eateri.co so we can review the request.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the app, its services, or legal requirements change. We will show a new effective date when we publish a revised policy.
